Felix Ratheb is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Sea Harvest Group Limited. He is also director of several corporations, including the likes of:

With over 15 years of experience in the fishing industry and FMCG, he brings exceptional management experience to the table. His career began in the non-ferrous metal industry as an International Trade Executive in 1997. Felix Ratheb became Commercial Manager at Sea Harvest in 2003, and moved up the ranks to become Sales & Marketing Director of Sea Harvest in 2006. He took the rains as Chief Executive Officer of Sea Harvest in 2013.
He is also an independent trustee of the Marine Stewardship Council Board of Trustees in the UK. The Marine Stewardship Council does assessments of organisations and fisheries to determine whether specific principles are met regarding sustainability, segregation and traceability of seafood stock. They manage an eco-labelling programme internationally.
Felix Ratheb is also a Board Member of the Groundfish Forum, which is the largest international white fish conference. He holds an MBA, which he completed in 2000 and a BScHons Electrical Engineering degree. He was top of his MBA class at the University of Cape Town, where he received the Old Mutual Gold Medal for Academic Excellence. In addition, Mr Ratheb holds a Diploma in International Trade, which he completed in 1997. He is connected across four different industries.
Mr Ratheb has also shared his knowledge as a guest lecturer in Business Strategy at UCT for a period of five years. In addition, he has served as a consultant for various firms. As an International Trade Executive, he spent a lot of his business time in east Asia. He played an integral role in the buy-out of Sea Harvest from Tiger Brands.
Under his leadership, Sea Harvest has expanded its business footprint and has been listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Today, Sea Harvest is one of the leading fishing firms in South Africa.
Sea Harvest has recently invested in Mareterram Limited, enabling the firm to get a foothold in the Australian fishery market, and to diversify its income streams. Felix Ratheb has also been instrumental in the development and implementation of a strategy to make Sea Harvest a leading global player in the fishery sector.
